Shanghai Pudong International Airport is a major aviation hub of China, being the main hub for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Air China, while its international lines include Lufthansa Air, Air Canada, Air France, Japan Air, Air India, Etihad Airways and so on. The other airport is Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport which mainly caters to domestic flights with limited international flights. Shanghai’s ideal setting by the East China Sea has led to three international cruise terminals viz. Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal and Waigaoqiao International Cruise Terminal, while Shanghai Port Wusong Passenger Centre has boats from Shanghai up to Jiujiang, Wuhan and Chongqing.
Beijing-Shanghai expressway goes to many destinations like Tianjin City, Hebei Province, Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province including Shanghai City. Buses to and from these places are quite frequent.
